My first Motorcycle Tour – Prologue

Initial Struggle

This tour borne in my mind when I making “ladakh” itinerary. Because, I have not riding experience at all and increasing the riding skill but Laughing thing was that I have not any motorcycle till date when I both planning itinerary was completed. Because, I am trying to convince my parents for buying motorcycle my parents are totally opposite to buy a motorcycle.

They think……….

Motorcycle = Accident

And

Motorcycle Accident = Death.

I know they are thinking of my safety but I am desired for motorcycle. They said big NO And I am frustrated , At one point I am thinking like that whatever happens I can buy one second hand motorcycle without parents’ permission (second hand because without dads subsidy). But after Four months of my hard work & obstinacy finally I am able to convince my parents. Hurray!!!! Hurray!!!!

Ohhhh gosh!!!! The task was completed. now time to choose Motorcycle after some search I decided to buy reliable Honda unicorn & inquired about nearest Honda showroom. one month waiting period for unicorn so I booked my first motorcycle Honda Cb Unicorn on 5th December 2012.

Day were being passes………..

After 1 month I call and confirm my Unis delivery date, it is on 09-01-2013

oh!!! Gosh!!! Finally my Unicorn is standing front of me looking so stunning, my happiness is touching to the sky, great moment of my life. finally I climb first step towards my dream.

Final Plan

After some short rides about 100km I am ready for my first long journey. I finalize the Dates and ask some friends to join us. Finally we three Me, My elder brother and my one friend Abhijeet are confirm for this tour. Then getting leave from office, my elder brother also getting leaves. we both are fix for now. But Abhijeet have some office problem and he told me one week before trip that he is not able to join us. I am not in mood to cancel or postpone the trip and finally we two are ready to live this journey……

This is my first Motorcycle Tour so for that I choose my Village Area. Because, this region is familiar to me which is easy for my first motorcycle ride.

Now my initial plan was as below

Day 1

My Home– Vikram Vinayak Mandir (Alibaug)– Kashid beach – Murud Janjira fort – Mahad

Day 2

Mahad – Ganpati pule – Jaigad fort & Lighthouse – Ratnagiri

Day 3

Ratnagiri – Vijaydurg – Kunkeshwar – Rameshwar – Tarkarli

Day 4

Tarkarli – Sindhudurg –Bhogwe- Nivati – Tarkarli

Day 5

Tarkarli – Sagareshwar – Mochimad – Redi Ganpati – Kudal(My home town)
