Tarkarli – sindhudurg – Bhogwe- Nivati – Tarkarli
Today was a bit relax day because our all destinations are nearby. so today we are woke up late about 8 o’clock and decided to went to beach for some fun. from our whole journey we only went in sea at Tarkarli because beach was so tempting & we have nice time in hand. all other beaches we visited, are on the way where keeping luggage & changing is hectic task.
Tarkarli beach is gem of a Malvan. It is a beautiful white sand beach with Crystal clear water. We spend there an hour & return to room. Freshened up took breakfast and leave for our first destination Sindhudurg fort at leaving our hotel guy asked about lunch & we pre-ordered Fish Thali with him.
Reach malvan, park motorcycle & went to jetty for ferry. Took tickets & waiting in ‘Q’ ferry’s looking safe compare to janjira fort. it took us 10-15 min to reach fort.

Ferry operator warn all passengers, that we have only one hour to explore the fort & they leave after one hour & not wait for anyone.
so we start to explore the fort. Climate was pleasant. fort is really big, we rumble everywhere we sight Shivrajeshwar temple, Bhawani Temple, Mahapurush, Flag bastion, Buruj (Tower), some Tanks & well. we manage to explore fort in one hour & return in time.
Ferry operator calls off, in next 15 min we are on jetty. Then we took our motorcycle and went on malvan beach for some fun, ride on beach, spend little time there.

next we move for devbaug sangam. which is confluence of Karli river & Arabian sea. We ride until roads end but didn’t saw confluence, I think we miss the road. Again we ride some km in search but didn’t get, now we are feeling hungry so we forgot that confluence & return to our hotel for lunch.
Our hotel guy saw us & said just wait for 5 min. Meanwhile we wash our hands & took sit, dining arrangement is outside of room here in open space of hotel. We ordered Fish Thali today & food was really awesome, test was finger liking. Lovely, enjoyed the meal.

Rest for a while & start for Bhogwe and Nivti beach, approximately 15 & 8 km. Asked route to our hotel guy he explain shortly & we leave.
Here except major roads max. Internal roads are silent & sometime scary, rarely any vehicle pass by. We continue asking direction whenever we saw folks.
We reach Bhogwe beach in half an hour, no rush only couple of family’s there.
This beach is actually adjacent to devbaug sangam. north side of beach is white sand, on other hand South side of Beach is little rocky. we calm down there for a while & enjoy the splashing water over rocks. Smell of sea is everywhere, melody of birds is pleasurable, sun also bearable now, really felling relax.

After enjoying here half an hour we leave for Nivati beach about 8 km from here. it’s a secluded beach Not any facility is there beach is between two hills on one hill there are one fort ruins from where beautiful sunset can see but we come to know this when we return to hotel so we miss that.

Both the beaches are hidden gems of konkan. Its great for family picnic because of less crowd & crystal clear water because less pollution we kept this places for future trips and leave.
On the way back one long trailer out of the road on turn. block whole road, both side of road is houses so no way to pass vehicle. All traffic was diverted. the road we took is one unpaved rocky detour to connect main road. until dark we reach our hotel again ordered delicious Fish thali. spend some time leisurely
At 9 pm we took dinner. after that walk for a while to digest meanwhile some more families are come chat until late night and went to sleep
That’s all folks…..
