Prologue

In Maharashtra telling like that every Konkani people rush to their villages for Ganesh utsav. then he would be wherever in the corner of the world. Because Ganesh utsav is one of the grand festival in konkan.

My parents move to Mumbai after marriage and many years of hard work they settled here. I remember that in childhood we going to village occasionally but never gone to Ganesh utsav till last year and After experiencing that, I automatically pulled towards village this year also.

Ganesh utsav in village is totally different with compare to Mumbai. it is cohesion of Nature, Culture and Devotion.

Initial startup

Actually this year I planned Ladakh motorcycle tour in September but some of the reasons tour was canceled unfortunately and I am hopeless…..

An odd day suddenly I click in mind that Ganesh utsav is a nearby and I memorize my last year visit of village  & decided to go village for Ganesh utsav.

& for some twist. we search for nearby places from my village for two-three days touring purpose and we found Goa. Because Goa is very close to my village just 70km and in monsoon there are offseason too, means low rates of accommodation & less crowed. So finally we decided to go Goa.

Initially I plan to go with my motorcycle home to home run but parents are not allowing to do in monsoon. Then partly motorcycle and partly train but then decided why carry motorcycle when my uncle motorcycle is there in village then decided that use uncle motorcycle for Goa trip…………

But we do whole trip in public transport.

Why?  That’s you got it later in Goa part so stay tuned.

Now the first task was the getting leave. this is not easy for me because am I already finish my leave quota on my sickness before the month so it’s really hard to apply leave but I made my mind and ask the sir that I want to leave going to village for Ganesh utsav. Thank god that my sir (boss) is also belong from konkan region and they knows how huge the Ganesh festival is in our area that’s why he agree for leaves.

Day 0

That day I leave early from office and reach home. Done all packing took Dinner and leave home at 9pm our train is about 11.45 at Thane Station but we went to CST station for boarding. because in season there are massive rush in Thane railway station that’s why my parents guide me that board at CST if you want to go and they are absolutely right we realize the same in CST station train was full and rest of space full in Dader Station and when Thane station arrived no space to climb passenger. in sleeper class rush like a general. Thank god we board at CST otherwise we also not able to board in train. because of that even conform reservation passengers are not getting inside the train & that’s why they angry and they are hitting stone on train some are slept on track much dram on station after that cops are come and settled the passenger this all thing are took two hours due to that train was late. That’s affect on our train scheduled we were supposed to reach morning but reach at noon.
