Today is our last day of goa trip. And tomorrow we are going to our village.

Our today plan is beaches and fort so we decided to start from north to south

1. Chapora fort
2. Baga beach
3. Calangute beach
4. Aguada fort

We leave from hotel at 8.30am and took bus for panjim and then for mhapsa.

We reach mhapsa in around half an hour. Then from there took another bus for chapora fort. Today slightly raining from morning and cloudy weather also, we reach chapora bus stand and from there hike small hill for reach top. We reach there early morning so no one on the top unless we. Roaming here and there on fort searching Dil chahta hai point but we don’t know which one is, all looking same. We spent half an hour exploring fort then return to base. inquired about direct bus is available for baga or Calangute but there are no direct buses for Baga or Calangute. So we again took bus for mhapsa and then for baga.

We reach Baga beach, climate is overcast & air was cool and pleasant. I remove the sandal and jacket and walk through sand & waves, up to Calangute beach with taking breaks in between for relax, photographs, snacks etc.

We spent some time on Calangute beach and then went to Calangute market for little bit shopping like key chains, t shirt, earrings etc. then took lunch and move towards bus stop for going Aguada fort. We took one and get off at last stop there a T junction one road which from we came, one road goes to small Aguada fort & one goes to Aguada fort. First we cannot understand small aguada & aguada fort.

There are two forts?

We saw their direction board small aguada fort is 0.3km and aguada fort at opposite direction 3.0 km. So we let it be that puzzle and forward to small aguada fort first. We explore that and return to go aguada fort.

and see what happens, we saw many people’s are going by walk to aguada fort direction so we think that the fort is at walk able distance, because one part of fort is here than another part is not so far, we think !!! and we also follow those people like sheep and neglect the board of 3.0 km after some distance those people vanished in resort.

That time I doubt that we doing something wrong. But we continue the walking…

We think that they are going to refresh, but after walking much there are no signs of fort then I realize that fort is not walk able distance. Sun is burning on we, road are not ending and there are no sight of fort. After walking more than half hour with backpack finally we saw fort and our soul come again. We saw there are no transport facility all peoples are carrying  there Scotty, motorbikes or own-privet vehicles. Also there is no taxi stand. We entered in to fort and first we search for sitting, we sat on stair and gulp too much water and rest for a while and thinking what about our return journey….

My brother said forget it and explore the fort first for which we walk up to. so we explore the fort. Not much to see in fort one light house & huge water tank but all are well maintained.

On return way we saw taxi on gate so we rush there and we are going to ask that before driver said taxi is hired and 3-4 peoples are come and entered to taxi we request him to give any taxi driver phone number then he said no one are come for such a short distance best you ask in parking lot just arrived taxis they help you so we went to parking lot there are only three vehicle tow taxi and one private so we ask to taxi drivers but they are refuse they said there peoples are come in 5-10 min. and private vehicle is Toyota fortuner we know he didn’t come nevertheless we ask the driver but he said he comes here with his boss and without his permission unable to go anywhere.

So we waited there for a while for any arriving vehicle but nobody comes so we decide to return by walk…

We reach bus stop totally exhausted. We are not willing to go anywhere now so we wait for bus. Bus comes after 20 min we took and reach to mhapsa about 5 pm. We come early so we first inquired about bus to going our village but there are no direct bus up to kudal & we are already exhausted so we are not going to do break journey. So we search hotel in mhapsa and we got in GTDC Mapusa residency @ 850inr. Then we refreshed and roam near market area get some stuff for morning breakfast and return to hotel. Then order dinner & watched T.v. after half hour order comes we took that delicious dinner and then watch movie for some time and went to sleep.
